I'm so tired of stories that keep making excuses for a character just because he's the main character. Yes, The Vampire Diaries, I'm looking at you, mostly because it's the latest example, but pretty much any show does that. The main character is immune because he's the lead. The two-year-long wait is finally over, and here's two Series 3! I must say I'm finding it a bit hard to put my thoughts and impressions into words here. I'd say I liked the episode overall, but I found it a bit... underwhelming? Despite rumours of cancelation, I've only seen this episode referred to as mid-season finale. Fingers crossed because as cringeworthy as this show is, I don't want to lose the source of ridiculous fun it gives me.

Wow! I think I kind of... liked this ep? A lot? Despite being relatively Knave-lite, it was action-packed, had a few interesting confrontations and the minimum of Alice/Cyrus humdrum. All in all, I think it was worth waiting for.
